First Feedback

The First Feedback stage represents the child’s initial engagement with the service. The focus is on building trust and rapport. The activities below are designed to support this process. They enable the child and their practitioner to get to know each other, and the child to receive accessible information about the support they will receive.

There should be an opportunity for the practitioner to get to know the child, and for the child to get to know the practitioner.
— Sam
It is important to get to know the child first, so they feel like they are being heard when providing feedback.
